big changes

OK SO WE GOT MOVED INTO OUR NEW HOUSE BUT ITS DEFINATELY BEEN STRESSFUL!! JORDYNN OF COURSE IS ADJUSTING WELL TO ALL HER NEW SPACE! SHE WANTS TO "HELP" WITH EVERYTHING I DO...SHE SPENT THE WEEKEND WITH GRAMMIE SO THAT WE COULD GET EVERYTHING MOVED...SHE CAME BACK ROTTEN SINCE GRAMMIE LOVES TO SPOIL HER! SHE EVEN GOT TO SEE AUNT JULIE AND UNCLE NICK THIS WEEKEND! SHE DECIDED LAST NIGHT SHE WANTED TO "CLEAN" WITH HER CLEANING CART THAT JESS, TREVOR AND ADDI GOT HER FOR HER BIRTHDAY... ITS EVEN WHAT SHE RAN FOR THIS MORNING... WILL POST PICS OF THE HOUSE SOON :)

TIME FLIES

OK SO SOOOO MUCH HAS HAPPENED SINCE LAST POST THAT HAS JUST KEPT ME TO BUSY TO BLOG :( OK SO JOJO TURNED 2 IN SEPT! AND WE MANAGED TO GET AWAY WITHOUT A HURRICANE THIS YEAR, YAY! WE WENT TO PUMP IT UP AND JORDYNN HAD A BLAST...IM NOT SURE WHO WAS MORE WORN OUT THE KIDS OR THE PARENTS. WE GOT A VISIT AT THE END OF AUGUST FROM LISA AND KALEN WHOM JORDYNN STILL SEARCHES THE HOUSE FOR HER AUNT KK.. WE FINALLY DECIDED ON A NEW HOUSE AND IT HAS BEEN IN THE WORKS SINCE AUGUST... WE SHOULD MOVE IN THIS WEEKEND HOORAY! JORDYNN IS GETTING SO BIG. SHE IS A LITTLE MOCKINGBIRD WHEN IT COMES TO WORDS AND SHE WATCHES VERY CAREFULLY. SHE KNOW A LOT OF SHAPES BUT HAS DECIDED THAT EVERYTHING IS YELLOW LOL. SHE CAN COUNT TO 10 WHEN SHE FEELS LIKE IT BUT USUALLY LEAVES OUT 4 AND 6 MOST OF THE TIME LOL. SHE HAS OFFICIALLY BOYCOTTED POTTY TRAINING BUT ITS ABOUT TO GO INTO FULL EFFECT WHEN WE GET IN THE NEW HOUSE. HER HAIR IS GETTING SOOO LONG ESPECIALLY FOR SOMEONE THAT DIDNT HAVE ANY UNTIL SHE WAS 15 MONTHS. SHE DEMANDS A BOW MOST DAYS AND NOW LIKES TO PICK OUT HER SHOES TOO! SHE HAS AN OBSESSION WITH MINNIE MOUSE AND SO THAT IS WHAT SHE IS GOING TO BE FOR HALLOWEEN... SHE IS SUPER CUTE SINGING THE HOTDOG SONG. JORDYNN STILL LIKES TO GET HER KEYS, CELL PHONE, PURSE AND BABY OR MINNIE DOLL AND GO TO THE DOOR AND SAY BYE! WHEN WE ASK WHERE SHE IS GOING SHE SAYS SHOPPING LOL. SHE TRIES TO GET OUT OF GOING TO BED BY LAYING ON THE COUCH AND SAYING I GO NIGHT NIGHT HERE. SHE CAN HEAR A TRAIN OR AN AIRPLANE BEFORE THE PEOPLE ON THEM CAN... LOL... I WILL TRY TO DO A LITTLE BETTER ON HERE. BUT IM GETTING OFF OF HERE FOR NOW

FATHERS DAY WEEKEND

We started the weekend at the conroe waterpark, jordynn loved the slides (yes the big enclosed slides) she even threw a huge temper tantrum when i was worn out and didnt want to tote her back up and make lona catch her anymore. we are still in swim lessons are fridays and shes fearless, trying to figure out if this is a good or bad thing as she just jumps right in!! the good thing is atleast she is now blowing bubbles under the water. Saturday we went to galveston to see joshs dad and got to hang out with grandma betty, grandpa billy and aunt kaykay is back in town for a little while!! jordynn definately didnt forget her or she just looks so much like josh she loved her immeditely! everyone went down to the pier and went fishing...i chased jordynn around she was wanting to get into everyones bait...GROSS! but she did get to see a few small sharks which was pretty neat for her. sunday the girls cooked daddy breakfast and then jumped on the bed to get him up!! ha ha she now demands a bow in her hair but if she doesnt get her way she yanks it out like it is suppose to hurt my feelings... she loved pawpaws cat toys and grandmas special small cupcakes.... grammie picked her up from school tuesday and go to learn firsthand on how fearless jordynn is when it comes to the water!! mom says she has a few more gray hairs now... shes getting big too fast and we are starting to plan her 2nd birthday which i hope is not a repeat of last years IKE events.

A WAR WOUND KINDA WEEK

This weekend was kinda slow...i had to work friday so jojo got to hang out with grandma betty. then she went swimming in the neighbors pool until she wore herself out...she was having sooo much fun she even boycotted dinner! saturday we just hung out around the house, i filled up her baby pool but i think it was even too hot for her as she told me she wanted to go inside which is rare for her. then today josh decided we were going to get a big pool for the backyard, just big enough to cover the entire back deck... its only 30" deep just deep enough that jojo can stand up and walk in it with it full. she loves it and we all had a blast in it! hopefully it will not break through the deck lol! jojo gets to hang out with her boyfriend chay and aunt taffy tomorrow!! yay and then wed josh's sister, kalen, is coming into town from montana for most of the summer, i know jordynn will love hanging out with aunt kay kay! jordynn also recently learned the meaning of hot, bless her heart we have been trying to get her to stop climbing up the stove but last week she actually got it good...a blister on her left thumb and pointer :( she now points to it and says hot, but doesnt climb it anymore... but then to top it off she got bit at school this week, it even left a mouth bruise on her arm, poor baby. and when we got home she was sooo excited she sprinted up the stairs that lead to the house and fell and scraped up her knuckles. hopefully this next week will be a better week for her! atleast she is tough

JORDYNN SCHOOL GRAD

Jordynn and her cousin Rylee (the cutie in white) had a graduation from toddler to K2 class at abundant life academy where she goes to school 2 days a week. They were soooo cute! They did some song where it told them to get up and march and she was one of the few that actually got up and did it. They also did the itsy bitsy spider and she loves that song! We kept waiting for her to jump off stage and run but she sat there and ended up looking pretty bored lol.

we took jordynn to the zoo for the first time this past saturday, we didnt get to see a lot of animals apparently the ones at the houston zoo are very lazy lol. she loves birds so we did get to see quite a few of them and she growled at the giraffes and elephants. i think her favorite part of the day was the rotating water sprayers in a little kid play area. she was soaked. daddy then gave her a red icee and she matched her outfit! she has decided that when we go on walks she must carry a purse for the trip...she is such a priss! she is still in school 2 days a week at abundant life academy, infact she has her graduation tomorrow night from "toddler" class to kinder 2's. it will be cute/interesting none the less. we finish swim lessons friday and im considering doing it another 8 weeks bc she is doing soooo well! she has started jumping in off the step and everything! she gets so excited she forgets she needs to close her mouth to jump in so she giggles and jumps, nothing like a mouth-full of water! her favorite thing right now is outside, she will drag you by the hand saying outside until you take her out there! she loves it when daddy swings her bc he makes it go really high! she is very big into her babies and just got a wooden baby bed for them today. she sings all the time but you can only make out 2 songs: rock a bye baby and now thanks to practice for her graduation jesus loves me its too cute, she has such a sweet little girly voice...ok thats all for now!

WA-WA MELON

We had lunch at grandma Betty and grandpa billy's for memorial day.... Jordynn had as she calls it wa-wa melon for the first time and she ate some but preferred just picking the seeds out and throwing them. She is doing great in her big girl bed! We also played in the elmo sprinkler this weekend...she loves the water, ok well she loves to soak other people lol....

Jordynn teething again!

Well I guess its that time again, Jojo is getting her 2 year molars and I think these are the worst out of the whole bunch! normally we have been uneventful when it comes to teething, but these seem to be giving her some trouble. all she does is chews on her finger and she is quite moody, unless shes just getting into the terrible two's which I hope isn't so LOL. so far so good in her big girl. tonight she is staying with her grandma Betty and grandpa Billy being spoiled I'm sure!

Big Girl Bed

ok so we finally decided to take jordynn out of her crib and convert her into her big girl bed.....she's doing great so far, boycotted nap a little at first then fell right asleep...bedtime went as smooth as usual. i cant believe how big she is getting. she has to have her big pillow, 2 baby pillows, her big bear, babies and horse to go to sleep, not to mention her 12 blankets lol. she definately knows what she wants.
